The U3A Movement
U3A stands for the University of the Third Age, which is a self-help organisation for people no longer in full time employment providing educational, creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly environment.  Membership is open to anyone within the St Ives area who is no longer in full time paid employment.  There is no age limit.  Read more about U3A, it's principles and how it works.

New members are always welcome at St Ives U3A, Cornwall.
We have regular meetings with interesting talks and we also have walks and outings.  

We have a number of interest groups including Current Affairs; Art Group; Table Tennis at the Island Centre.  No qualifications are required - only interest and enthusiasm.  Outings and lunches are arranged from time to time.

Membership from 1st April  to 31st March  is £15 per person.

General meetings take place on the first Tuesday of the month at the Carbis Bay Memorial Hall, Trencrom Lane, Carbis Bay, TR26 2TA.  There is a free on-site car park or alternatively bus stops are nearby.
