The U3A Movement
U3A stands for the University of the Third Age, which is a self-help organisation for people no longer in full time employment providing educational, creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly environment.  Membership is open to anyone within the St Ives area who is no longer in full time paid employment.  There is no age limit.  Read more about U3A, it's principles and how it works.

New members are always welcome at St Ives U3A, Cornwall.
We have regular meetings with interesting talks and we also have walks and outings.  If you would like a friendly person to accompany you on your initial visit please telephone Christine on:  01736 795 316

We have many interest groups such as film, history, collectors, current affairs, classical music, Shakespeare, readers' circle, as well as table tennis at the Island Centre. and petanque on the beach.
No qualifications are required - only interest and enthusiasm.
Annual membership from September 1st - August 31st of the following year is £10 and many of the interest groups are then free.
